This upcoming Fall, the Montgomery Business Association will roll out two exciting opportunities to help you connect directly with local residents and boost your business visibility — our upcoming B2C Holiday Email Ad Journal and the Welcome Bag Program & Packing Event. Both initiatives are designed to put your business front and center within the Montgomery community, reaching new families and loyal local shoppers.

B2C Email Ad Journal – Reaching Local Residents

Our Business-to-Consumer (B2C) Holiday Email Ad Journal will be emailed to over 1,000 recipients, the majority of which are Montgomery and Rocky Hill residents. Our next Montgomery Resident Email Newsletter goes out November, just in time for the holiday season — and participation is free for MBA members and sponsors. This digital newsletter reaches hundreds of local households, giving you the opportunity to feature your business, announce promotions, or share exclusive offers before the busiest shopping time of the year!

Welcome Bags and Packing Event

Each year, hundreds of new families move into Montgomery — and the MBA’s 

Welcome Bag Program is a simple, effective way to get your business in front of them. Members can include flyers, coupons, or small giveaways in the official MBA Welcome Bags, which are distributed directly to new residents. This gives your business direct exposure to potential new customers right as they’re settling into the community and looking for trusted local shops & services.

MBA members in good standing are invited to contribute one promotional item per business — such as a flyer, coupon, or small giveaway. Please provide 150 copies or pieces of that one item for the upcoming bags. Do not include a reusable bag; the MBA provides the Welcome Bags.

Drop-off deadline: November 4, 2026

Please give your packaged and labeled items to the front desk. MBA Members will pack the Welcome Bags on November 5.
