This program presents new home owners in the Montgomery area with a reusable shopping bag, a letter explaining the importance and benefits of shopping local, and the flyers of businesses that choose to participate in the Welcome Bag program. 

Due to your overwhelmingly positive response to this program, the MBA Board decided to broaden it to all 3 large residential developments taking place in Montgomery. In addition to the Hovanian Montgomery Ridge development, we have added the Sharbell Hillside & Tapestry developments. Those last two are well under way with 140 units already sold & occupied. We have a plan for getting these Welcome Bags to those new home owners who are in their homes already, and to offer them at future closings.

We plan to expand this program even further, so that all new residents of Montgomery are presented with a Welcome Bag when they close on their home.

How to Participate

Get Your Promotion Materials in the Welcome Bag!

This program is available to all members in good standing, that is, with 2016 membership dues paid in full. If you need to pay, click here and pay on-line.

We need at least 150 pieces of your literature (one page, maxium 8.5 x 11) to start. Many businesses choose to offer a special promotion for new residents, but that is not required. We will contact you when we need additional materials, as the bags are distributed.

Drop your materials off to Jean Robinson’s business: Volition Wellness Solutions, 182 Tamarack Circle, Skillman, NJ 08558. Your literature can be dropped off Monday – Friday between 10 AM and 4 PM.

Please place your materials in a secure, durable package that is clearly labeled with your business name, your name, and contact information, including phone & email address.

Please remember the MBA Board is all volunteer. This is a big undertaking and we are happy to do it, but it is your responsibility to provide your own materials.

Distribute Our Welcome Bags to Your Clients!

Are you a local realtor, property management company, or developer? We’d love to get our Welcome Bags into the hands of your clients. New residents have responded positively to this program which allows them to learn about the local area and receive the specials/promotions that many members choose to include on their flyer.
